I have been a big fan of TV sitcoms for quite some time and as I look back upon the past decade or so, I can see that many of the 90’s Sitcoms are still very popular among today's television viewing audience. And if you are old enough to remember, the Petrie’s slept in separate twin beds, although, at some point they must have moved them together because they had a son called Ritchie. Now, compare the very funny, but very proper 60’s sitcom Dick Van Dyke Show with the 90’s sitcom Friends, which was very funny, but very open sexually. I don’t believe there was any subject on Friends that was considered taboo.
