Free Jason Mraz I'm Yours Song Download

Jason Mraz I'm Yours is one of the world's most popular songs. American singer and songwriter Jason Mraz who wrote and sang the popular hit song “I’m Yours” was born and raised in the town of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Much of Jason Mraz’s music was influenced by a multitude of different styles of music, including reggae (which you can here in I’m Yours), rock, pop, hip hop, jazz (you can hear his jazz influence in I’m Yours), and folk music.

In the year 2002, Jason Mraz released “Waiting For My Rocket To Come” which was his debut album. “Waiting For My Rocket To Come” was not a big commercial success for Mraz. That would come with his second album release entitled “Mr. A-Z”. In fact, “Mr. A-Z” would sell well over 100,000 copies in the United Sates alone and reach number 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 music chart.

American Music Charts - Free Music Downloads

Like music in a lot of other countries, music in the United States of America also evolved at a gradual pace. The merging of a multitude of different cultures saw the emergence of several new styles of music arrive and thrive in the U.S.

Some of these new forms of music includes Rock and Roll, Blues, Jazz, Country, Swing and Folk. The emergence and widespread growth of AM then FM radio stations across the country increased the demand for new styles of music as well as the invention of the American Music Charts as a way to grade artists songs and albums.

It did not take a long time for Elvis Presley to become the number one top selling singing sensation in the America. His style of rock n’ roll music laid the cornerstone for development of music in the United States. Along with being the “king of rock”, Elvis dominated the American music charts!

TV emerged as a new way for promoting the top 40 songs. During the first half of the 60‘s, rock bands began popping up all over the United States. Along with rock n’ roll music, soul music and Mexican pop also came to light in the 60‘s. Interesting developments began to take place in American music in the 70’s.

The History of the Eagles Rock Band

Probably my favorite song and album of all time is the Eagles Hotel California. I did a little research on the Eagles band by reading about their past. It seems that the history of the Eagles rock band was full of twists and turns. So much so, I thank the stars that the band stayed together long enough for the Eagles Hotel California to be released. While today there are a plethora of Eagles top songs we can listen to, it wasn’t always that way. Here is a brief history of the Eagles band before there were any Eagles top songs like, “One Of These Nights”, “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Hotel California”.

While touring for a couple of months with star singer Linda Ronstadt, the future Eagles band of Don Henley and Glenn Frey, decided it was time they put their own band together. Glenn Frey, who was a big fan of country rock music coaxed a couple of guitarists away from two bands who frequently played at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. These were guitarist Bernie Leadon who was playing for the Flying Burrito Brothers and bass guitar player Randy Meisner who was playing for the popular rock band Poco at the time.

The Best Sites To Download Free Music From The 80s

In 1969 the world would be astounded by half a million music lovers getting together in peaceful protest of the Vietnam War. The protesters would listen to 3 days of non-stop music performed by some of the worlds greatest rock bands on a farm in upstate New York. The concert I am speaking of was called “Woodstock”. During the decade of the 80s the world would once again be astounded by the power that music can wield. In 1984 and again in 1985, Boom Town Rats musician, Bob Geldof would help put together a best selling record called “Band Aid” and a global concert called “Live Aid” to help raise money and awareness in order to aid the starving people in Africa by getting them the food and medical supplies they so desperately needed. Bob Geldof would be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. Bob Geldof and Midge Ure would write the hit single “Do They Know It's Christmas?” This song alone helped make the music from the 80s memorable. Do They Know It's Christmas?” would be performed by a group of all-star musicians who called themselves Band Aid for the record. Band Aid would quickly shoot up to the #1 slot in the UK. George Michael, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Bob Geldof, Bono, Sting, Boy George as well as members of Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet along with many others took part in the song.

In the summer of 1985, the concert Live Aid took place. Live Aid was actually simultaneous concerts that took place at Wembley Stadium in London and at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia with a TV audience of over 400 million music lovers. The Live Aid concert was music from the 80s at its best and was being done for a great cause. Here are some of the fantastic musicians who contributed to this worthy cause: at Wembley Stadium there was Paul McCartney, U2, Queen, David Bowie, The Who along with Elton John. The Philadelphia stage presented The Four Tops, Joan Baez, Neil Young, Madonna, and Bob Dylan. Phil Collins would perform at Philadelphia and then hop on a jet so he could perform at Wembley! Prince Charles and Lady Diana attended Wembley Stadium to hear this memorable concert.

Download Music From The 70's For Free

As far as the music from the 70s was concerned, it was a decade of contrasts. Music from the 70s offered sounds for every music lover. Because it was a major part of the mainstream America, Soft Rock got plenty of radio airplay. The emergence of the super group, “The Eagles” began in the 70’s. The Eagles soft rock songs with a touch of country like “Take It Easy”, “Lyin’ Eyes” and “Peaceful Easy Feeling” were very popular with radio DJ‘s. The Carpenters, a brother/sister duo, won many fans with hits like “We've Only Just Begun“, “For All We Know“, “Goodbye to Love” and “Yesterday Once More“. Sadly, the rich vocal quality of Karen Carpenter’s singing would end with her untimely death on February 4, 1983 due to heart failure which was caused by the 32 year old singers anorexia disease.

The music from the 70s was a time for piano men and singer-songwriters Billy Joel and Elton John to gain mass appeal across the globe. Along with his songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin, Elton John wrote many beautiful piano based songs, with their most successful album being the popular “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road“, which went platinum very quickly. The always flamboyant Elton John was known for wearing outlandish glasses, platform shoes and costumes during his performances. 5 time Grammy Award winner Billy Joel not only produced hit after hit after hit in the U.S. but he also sold over 150 million albums worldwide. Albums like “Piano Man”, “52nd Street” and “The Stranger” are still being sold in music stores right now! As a matter of fact, along with the music from the 60s, the music from the 70s is the most popular decade of music playing on the radio today. It seems as if every other radio station is a classic rock station.

The Best Site For Unlimited Free Easy Listening Music Downloads

In order to concentrate and get their work done, some people need utter and complete silence, but I am the complete opposite. When I've got the radio playing easy listening music in the background, I find that I'm able to focus much better and I become far more productive. Ever since I began pulling all-nighters in college and high school I've been this way. Listening to soft rock playing in the background helped me to study for finals or get an essay completed prior to the deadline, and I don't anticipate that I am going to change anytime soon. That's why I am happy to have found a site where I can download unlimited easy listening music for free online.

The 80's Greatest Hits Free Downloads

Just about every music lover has a musical decade that they consider to be their favorite, with music from the 1960's the most popular followed by music from the 1980's. The reason for the mass popularity of 80's greatest hits probably has a great deal to do with the many changes that were made in the music industry during that decade.

One such change was the introduction of the MTV channel, which greatly altered the way that records were promoted during this period. Just about everyone of the 80's greatest hits had a video to go along with the hit record. For each of their new release songs, every band and singer was asked to produce a video that could be played on the new MTV channel. Because all of the music artists would be seen by MTV's rapidly growing fan base, looking good became almost as important as sounding good. The use of video's for 80's greatest hits was a major success and the top music artists were able to bring a big budget to their MTV music videos.
