My List Of Funny Movies

How many of you know a movie snob? A movie snob is a person who is exceedingly picky about what movies they watch, you know, the person who won't even watch funny movies because they are not sophisticated enough. For reasons only known to themselves, these film snobs seem to require their movies to have both a complex and ground breaking plot that is solemn in nature in order to be satisfied by any movie. They may see comedy films as something that will never be taken seriously as a work of art, and if any film does not make a statement about religion, politics or the world at large, it is a movie that is not worth watching. I'm a guy who thoroughly enjoys funny movies and to me, thinking like that is a crying shame. Comedy movies have a real value that you can't find anywhere else in the world of entertainment. Hollywood must think so or why would they pay a comic actor like Jim Carrey almost as much per film as dramatic and action superstar Tom Cruise?
