The fight for your movie downloads money has been around ever since the Internet became so popular. Prior to offering movie downloads, Netflix let customers choose their movies online, and then mailed them to their homes within a few days. Movie rental businesses like Blockbuster felt threatened by this type of service, as well as many of the smaller mom and pop video stores that eventually were forced out of business as a result. Blockbuster seeing that there was money to be made in online movie rentals and movie downloads, picked up Netflix gauntlet and began fighting back.
